Does swallowing saliva whilst fasting break the fast | ruling on saliva in Ramadan

Question: What is the ruling of swallowing saliva by the person fasting?

Answer by Shaykh AbdulAziz bin Baz said:

﴿لا حرج في بلع الريق لمشقة أو تعذر التحرز منه.﴾‏

❝There is no harm in swallowing saliva due to the hardships of not swallowing saliva or the impracticality of protecting oneself from swallowing it.❞

Answer by Ibn al-Uthaymeen said:

﴿الريق لا يفطر الصائم إذا بلعه.﴾‏

❝Saliva does not cause a fasting person to break his fast if he swallows it.❞
