Forgiveness dua of Yunus(A.S) | Tirmidhi hadith no 3505

Dua of Nabi Yunus(AS) when he was in the belly of the whale

There is a dua if you were to recite it, Allah will ACCEPT it.  

In a beautiful hadith collected by al-Tirmidhi (3505), the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“The prayer of Dhul-Noon (Yunus) which he said when he was in the belly of the whale:  

لَآ إِلٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّيْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ 

Lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu minaẓ-ẓālimīn 

‘None has the right to be worshipped but You, Glorified (and Exalted) be You! Truly, I have been of the wrongdoers.’ 

No Muslim recites this Dua concerning any matter, but Allah will answer him.” 

What a powerful dua!  

I am sure you noticed the sentence: “No Muslim recites this Dua concerning any matter, but Allah will answer him.”
