Protect Your Children: Essential Du'a for Parents

The Importance of Reciting Du'a for Children's Protection: A Parental Responsibility

A Parent who does not read and blow on their children for protection from the evil eye and all other harm is really failing in their responsibility as a parent and neglecting the rights of their kids.

What is the appropriate dua to recite ?

The Du ‘ā that Ibrāhim (a.s) made for his two children and the Prophet (ṣallAllāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would make for his grand children:

أَعُوذُ ‌بِكَلِمَاتِ ‌اللَّهِ ‌التَّامَّةِ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ .

‘I seek refuge for you two with Allah’s perfect words from every Shaytaan (devil) and poisonous creature and every evil eye.’

The Etiquette of Du'a: Why Asking Others for Prayers is Discouraged in Islam

Understanding the Islamic Perspective on Requesting Du'a from Others

Don't make a habit of requesting du'a from others

Ibrāhīm An-Nakha’ē, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

«كانوا يجلسون ويتذاكرون العلم والخير ثم يتفرقون، لا يستغفر بعضهم لبعض، ولا يقول: يا فلان ادع لي».

"They used to sit together, discuss knowledge and goodness, and then disperse without asking each other for forgiveness or saying, 'O so-and-so, make du'a for me.'"

[Kitāb Al-'ilm of Ibn Abī Khaythamah (36)]

Sheikh Bakr Abu Zayd, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "People have become very expansive in requesting du'a from others, especially at farewells: 'Make du'a for us,' '[I seek] your Du'a,' even if the person addressed is a sinner. Some of the pious predecessors disliked this practice. Ibn Rajab, may Allah have mercy on him, noted that many of the pious predecessors disliked being asked to make du'a for others, and would say to those who asked them, 'What am I?' Among those from whom this has been reported are Umar ibn Al-Khattab and Ḥudhayfah ibn Al-Yaman, may Allah be pleased with them, as well as Mālik ibn Dīnār. An-Nakha’ē also disliked being asked for prayers. A man wrote to Aḥmad ibn Ḥanbal asking him to make du'a for him, to which Aḥmad replied, 'If we make du'a for you, then who will make du'a for us?'"

[Mu'jam Al-Manāhi al-Lafdhiyyah (p. 87)]

Sheikhul Islām Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, explained that while requesting du'a is permissible, it is contrary to what is preferable and better for a Muslim. The preferable approach is to turn directly to Allah and not resort to asking His creation for anything, even for du'a. He supported this view with several points:

1. The general evidence that discourages asking others and encourages reliance on Allah alone, as any form of request, no matter how small, entails a type of humility. A Muslim should humble himself only before Allah Almighty.

2. There is a fear that asking others for du'a could lead to the establishment of intermediaries between the Creator and the creation. The foundation of the doctrine of monotheism is the denial of intermediaries and intercessors, and the reliance solely on the Lord of all causes, Glorified and Exalted be He.

Etiquette of Supplication in Islam: Calling Upon Allah with Fear and Hope

The Proper Manner of Making Dua: A Guide to Attaining Allah's Mercy

ETIQUETTE OF SUPPLICATING TO ALLĀH, AND MEANS TO ATTAINING HIS MERCY

ALLĀH said,

وَادْعُوهُ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا
And call upon HIM with fear and hope

That is, fear of HIS punishment and hope of HIS reward, hoping that one’s deeds will be accepted and fearing that they will be rejected, not offering supplication in the manner of one who thinks that he is entitled to a response from his Lord, filled with self-admiration and raising himself above his station, or in the manner of one who is heedless and not focusing.

To sum up, the etiquette of supplication as mentioned in this verse is that one should be sincere in calling upon ALLĀH alone, which is indicated by offering supplication in private, concealing and hiding it. There should be both fear and hope, with no heedlessness, complacency or not caring about the response. This is part of offering supplication in the proper manner, because doing every act of worship properly means striving one’s best and doing it in a perfect manner with no shortcomings in any way. Hence ALLĀH says:

رَحْمَتَ اللّهِ قَرِيبٌ مِّنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Indeed, the mercy of ALLĀH is near to the doers of good.

That is, in worshipping ALLĀH, and do kindness to the slaves of ALLĀH. The more a person strives to worship ALLĀH properly, the closer he is to the mercy of his Lord, and his Lord is closer to him by HIS mercy. This is obviously encouragement to strive to do well.

Du’a when Someone Unjustly Witholds Your Rights, Oppresses You, Harms You

Du’a when Someone Unjustly Witholds Your Rights, Oppresses You, Harms You, Causes Pain or Difficulty for You —

From Tafseer of Ibn Kathir (rahimahullah) -

al-Hasan al-Basri (rahimahullah) commented:

One should not invoke Allah against whoever wronged him.

Rather, he should supplicate (and say),

اللهم أعني عليه و استخرج حقى منه

Allahumma Aa-‘Innee Alayh wa Astakhrij Haqqa Minhh

O Allah! Help me over/against him and take my right from him

In another narration, al-Hasan (rahimahullah) said:

Allah has allowed (every)one to invoke Him against whoever wronged him without transgressing the limits.

SUPPLICATION IS ACCEPTED ON FRIDAY

SUPPLICATION IS ACCEPTED ON FRIDAY

Abū Hurayrah reported: The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) said:

"The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday... and it contains a time at which, no Muslim prays and asks anything from ALLĀH, but HE will give it to him."

Ka'b said, "That is one day every year.'

So I said, 'It is on every Friday!

Ka'b read the Torah and said, "The Apostle of ALLĀH has spoken the truth."

Abū Hurayrah said, "I met 'Abdullāh ibn Salām and told him of my meeting with Ka'b.

'Abdullāh ibn Salām said, 'I know what time it is.'

I asked him to tell me about it. 'Abdullāh ibn Salām said, 'It is at the very end of Friday!'

I asked, 'How can it be, when the Apostle of ALLĀH has said, "No Muslim finds it while he is praying..." and this is the moment when no prayer is offered?'

'Abdullaah ibn Salām said, 'Has the Apostle of ALLĀH not said, "If anyone is seated waiting for the prayer, he is engaged in the prayer until he observes it.""

I said, 'Yes, it is so!"

{Sunan Abī Dawūd #1046}

Jaabir ibn 'Abdullāh narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

"Friday is divided into twelve hours. Amongst them there is an hour in which, a Muslim does not ask ALLĀH for anything but HE gives it to him. So seek it in the last hour after the afternoon prayer."

{Sunan Abī Dawud #1048}

'Abdullāh ibn Salām is reported to have said, "I said while ALLĀH'S Messenger was sitting, 'We certainly find in ALLĀH'S Book (al-Qur'ān): There is an hour on Friday which, a believing man does not coincide with, while he is observing prayer begging of ALLĀH some thing, but his need is met with."

'Abdullāh said, "The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) pointed to me, saying: ‘Or some part of an hour.’

I said: ‘you are right, or some part of an hour.’

I said: ‘What time is that?’

He (ﷺ) said: ‘It is the last hours of the day.’

I said: ‘It is not the time of the prayer?’

He (ﷺ) said: ‘Yes (it is so), when a believing slave performs prayer and then sits with nothing but the prayer keeping him, he is still in a state of prayer.’

{Ibn Mājah #1139}

There is a great deal of difference of opinion among the scholars as to exactly when this hour occurs. The strongest opinion is, that this hour is at the very end of the day before sunset. The second most acceptable opinion is, that this hour should be considered as hidden like Laylatul Qadr, and the whole day should be spent in supplication and glorification of ALLĀH. And the third most acceptable opinion is, that this hour is found during the period when the Imaam is seated (for giving Friday sermon) until the Prayer is finished as is mentioned in the hadith.

The purpose of hiding this moment on Friday is, that people should remain engaged in supplication and prayer all day long. Had it been explained, people would not have made efforts in seeking it.

I am subject to Your judgement and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You – by every name that is Yours, by which You have named Yourself, or taught any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You – to make the Qur’ān the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief and the reliever of my anxiety.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “There is no one who is stricken with grief and anxiety, and then says [the above] — except that Allah will remove his grief and anxiety, and will give him joy instead.” The Companions asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah, should we not learn these words?’ He ﷺ replied, ‘Certainly! The one who hears them should learn them.’” 📖 (Ahmad 3712)

The Power of Du'a: Seize the Blessings After Prayer

The Often-Overlooked Moment: The Power of Sitting After Prayer

Shaykh ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Bāz رحمه الله mentioned:

The sitting after the taslīm in the prescribed prayers is from the most important times, in which the mercy of Allāh descends (upon his slaves). Do not hastily get up, rather seek forgiveness from Allāh, glorify Him, praise Him, and magnify Him.

Ibn Baṭṭal رحمه الله said:

Whoever has many sins and desires that Allāh remove these sins from him without burdening himself, then let him seize this opportunity and remain seated in his place after the prayer, so that he may take advantage of the supplications from the Angels and their asking forgiveness for him.

[Sharḥ Ibn Baṭṭal, vol. 3, pg. 114]

Translated by: Munīb al-Sumālī
_____________________________

The wisdom behind Islamic practices is profound. Often, seemingly simple actions hold immense spiritual significance. Such is the case with sitting after taslim (greetings) in the prescribed prayers. This short period, as Shaykh Abd al-Aziz ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy on him) reminds us, is a prime time for receiving Allah's (SWT) mercy.

The Often-Overlooked Moment: The Power of Sitting After Prayer

Many rush out of prayer as soon as the final taslim is complete. However, this brief moment of sitting holds immense value. Ibn Battal (may Allah have mercy on him) emphasizes this by urging believers to seize this opportunity.

Mercy Descends: Don't Miss the Opportunity for Forgiveness

This quiet time after prayer is a window for supplication. It's a chance to seek Allah's (SWT) forgiveness, glorify Him, and express our gratitude. As Ibn Battal suggests, this is a time when the  angels may intercede for us, further amplifying the power of our du'a (supplications).

Seize the Whispers of Angels: Supplications After Tashahhud

What supplications can we offer during this precious time?
There are specific duas found in the Sunnah, but sincere pleas from the heart are also encouraged.  Ask for forgiveness, express gratitude, and supplicate for your needs and the needs of the Ummah (Muslim community).

Making the Most of Your Du'a: Practical Tips for Increased Focus

To maximize the benefit of this time, consider these tips:
  • Be Present: Silence your phone and any distractions.
  • Focus on Meaning: Contemplate the words you recite, internalize their essence.
  • Raise Your Hands: This physical act can enhance your supplication.
  • Be Sincere: Let your pleas come from the depths of your heart.
  • By incorporating these practices, you can transform the sitting after prayer into a powerful moment of connection with Allah (SWT).

Unveiling the Power of Prophet Ibrahim's (AS) Prayer: A Deep Dive with Tafsir Ibn Kathir

THE PRAYER OF IBRAHIM (PEACE BE UPON HIM)

ALLĀH tells about the prayer of Ibrahim:

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا
My Lord! Grant me Hukm,

Here Ibrahim, upon him be peace, asks his Lord to give him Hukm.

Ibn Abbas (may ALLĀH be pleased with them),
"This is knowledge."

وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ
and join me with the righteous.

means, make me one of the righteous in this world and the Hereafter.'

وَٱجۡعَل لِّى لِسَانَ صِدۡقٍ فِى ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
And bless me with honorable mention among later generations.

meaning, cause me to be remembered in a good manner after my death, so that I will be spoken of and taken as a good example.'

وَٱجۡعَلۡنِى مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
And make me one of those awarded the Garden of Bliss.

meaning, `bless me in this world with honorable mention after I am gone, and in the Hereafter by making me one of the inheritors of the Paradise of Delight.'

WHAT TO SAY WHEN SEEING A PERSON AFFLICTED IN HIS BODY OR RELIGION

WHAT TO SAY WHEN SEEING A PERSON AFFLICTED IN HIS BODY OR RELIGION

Abu Hurayrah (May ALLĀH be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said:

“Whoever sees an afflicted person then says:

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ عَافَانِيْ مِمَّا ابْتَلاَكَ بِهِ، وَفَضَّلَنِيْ عَلَى كَثِيْرٍ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ تَفْضِيْلًا

‘All praise is due to ALLĀH Who has saved me from that which HE has afflicted you with and blessed me greatly over many of those whom HE has created’

'Alhamdu lillaahil-lathee 'aafaanee mimmab-talaaka bihi wa fadhdhalanee 'alaa katheerin mimman khalaqa tafdheela.'

shall not be struck by that affliction.”

{At-Tirmithi #3432}

NOTES:

1 The dua should be said when seeing a person with a bodily affliction (illness, disability etc.) or religious related affliction such as wrongdoing, oppression, innovation, disbelief and other than it.

2  It should be said in a low voice when seeing a person with a bodily affliction so as to not upset them.

3 The person afflicted in his religion (sins, innovation etc.) should be made to hear it if one wishes to rebuke him and it is hoped that he will rectify himself. However, if it is feared that it may cause harm or a greater evil then it should be said in a low voice.

Protect Yourself From Anxiety, Laziness, Debt etc Dua

Protect Yourself From Anxiety, Laziness, Debt etc

O Allah, I seek Your protection from anxiety and grief. I seek Your protection from inability and laziness. I seek Your protection from cowardice and miserliness, and I seek Your protection from being overcome by debt and being overpowered by men.

Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) narrated that one day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the masjid. He saw a man from the Anṣār called Abū Umāmah (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu). He ﷺ asked, “What is the matter? Why are you sitting in the mosque when it is not the time for prayer?” He replied, “Never-ending worries and debts, O Messenger of Allah.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then asked, “Shall I not teach you words by which, when you say them, Allah will remove your worries, and settle your debts?” He replied, “Yes of course, O Messenger of Allah.” He ﷺ said, “Say in the morning and evening [the above].” Abū Umāmah (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) said, “Then I did that, and Allah removed my worries and settled my debts.” (Abū Dāwūd 1555)

A powerful tool Hawqalah | Lahaul Wala Quwat Illa Billah

A powerful tool:

لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِالله, also known as ‘ḥawqalah’ is a very concise yet comprehensive statement.

With it, one proclaims the oneness of Allah and expresses one’s reverence, awe and need of Him.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“Shall I not teach you a statement which lies beneath the Throne and is from the treasures of Paradise? Say لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِالله upon which Allah says: ‘My slave has submitted and surrendered himself.’”

(Hākim)

The ḥawqalah is a treasure because the reward of it is stored and protected for the person who uttered it in the hereafter, just as treasure is stored and protected in this world.

Imām al Nawawī wrote: ‘The scholars said that the reason behind this statement being one of the treasures of Paradise is because it embodies complete submission, entrusting one’s affairs and obedience of Allah. One acknowledges that there is no Creator other than Him and none can turn back His Command, and that the slave is powerless in his own affairs.’

He ﷺ also said: “It is a gate from the gates of Paradise.”

The Prophet's Concern for the Well-Being of His Ummah

The Prophet's Prayer for Intercession

O ALLAH! MY UMMAH! MY UMMAH!

▶️Most beloved people by Prophet Muhammad[salle allahu alai hi wa sallam]

{Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 6791}

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah Allah’s Apostle (peace be upon him) said: The people most loved by me from amongst my Ummah would be those who would come after me but everyone amongst them would have the keenest desire to catch a glimpse of me even at the cost of his family and wealth.

▶️In Ummah, some people will kill or imprison others.

{Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 6904}

▫️Narrated byThawban
Allah’s Apostle (peace be upon him) said: Allah drew the ends of the world together for my sake. I have seen its eastern and western ends. The dominion of my Ummah will reach those ends which have been drawn together near me and I have been granted the red and the white treasures. I begged my Lord that my Ummah should not be destroyed by famine, nor be dominated by a foreign enemy who will take their lives and destroy them root and branch. My Lord said: Muhammad, whenever I make a decision, there is none to change it. Well, I grant you that your Ummah will not be destroyed by famine, nor will it be dominated by a foreign enemy who will take their lives and destroy them root and branch, even if all the people from the different parts of the world join hands together (for this purpose). However, it will be from amongst them, viz. your Ummah, that some people will kill or imprison others.

*Note: This is exactly what is happening for many years either sectarianism/ignorance or Mutual jealousy/rivalry. For Ex: The killing of Sunnites in Iraq by Shiaites.Kuffar play games with Muslims and Muslims due to ignorance harms their brotherhood.

▶️No bloodshed among the people of my Ummah, but He did not grant it.

◽{Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 6906}

▫️Narrated bySa’d ibn AbuWaqqas
One day Allah’s Apostle (peace be upon him) came from high land. He passed by the mosque of Banu Mu’awiyah, went in, and observed two rak’ahs there we also observed prayer along with him and he made a long supplication to his Lord. He then came to us and said: I asked my Lord three things and He has granted me two but has withheld one. I begged my Lord that my Ummah should not be destroyed because of famine and He granted me this. And I begged my Lord that my Ummah should not be destroyed by drowning (by deluge) and He granted me this. And I begged my Lord that there should be no bloodshed among the people of my Ummah, but He did not grant it.

*Note:After Allah subhanawatala’s command to be undivided, Muslims did divided. Allah subhanawatala commanded not to practice oppression but Muslims did practiced it.

▶️My Ummah (nation) will be tried through wealth

{Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 481}

▫️Narrated byKa’b ibn Iyad
I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: Every ummah (nation) has a test to undergo, my Ummah (nation) will be tried through wealth.
Transmitted by Tirmidhi.

▶️O Lord, my Ummah, my Ummah

{Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 397}

▫️Narrated byAbdullah ibn Amr ibn al-‘As
Verily the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) recited the words of Allah, the Great and Glorious, that Ibrahim uttered: My Lord! Lo! they have led many of mankind astray: “But whoso followeth me, he verily is of me” (al-Qur’an, xiv.35), and Jesus (peace be upon him) said: “If thou punisheth them, lo! they are Thy slaves, and if Thou forgiveth them–verily Thou art the Mighty, the Wise” (al-Qur’an, v.117). Then he raised his hands and said: O Lord, my Ummah, my Ummah, and wept. So Allah, the High, and the Exalted said: O Gabriel, go to Muhammad (though your Lord knows it fully well) and ask him: what makes thee weep? So Gabriel (p.) came to him and asked him, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) informed him of what he had said (though Allah knew it fully well). Upon this Allah said: O Gabriel, go to Muhammad and say: Verily We shall please thee with regard to your Ummah and shall not displease thee.

Du'a: The Essence of Worship

DU‘Ā, THE ESSENCE OF WORSHIP

﷽
➖➖➖
EPISODE 5⃣: Some reasons behind no/delayed response - PART A
➖➖➖
One of the greatest trials a Muslim can face is to make du‘ā without getting a response in any form.

A number of factors contribute to that, and some of them shall be mentioned below In'Shaa'Allaah.

1️⃣ When the du‘ā is for something which is not permitted to ask for.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "A person's du‘ās will continue to be answered so long as he does not pray for something sinful or for the breaking of family ties."
(Muslim, 7705)

2️⃣ Not commanding good and forbidding evil.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! Either you command good and forbid evil, or Allaah will soon send upon you a punishment from Him, then you will call upon Him, but He will not respond to you."
(Tirmidhi 2169)

3️⃣ Sinning.
When a person sins, or is following bid'ah (innovation) in religion, or his heart has been overtaken by negligence.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "A man is deprived of provision because of the sins that he commits."
(Ibn Maajah, 4022)

4️⃣ Consuming haraam wealth.

This is one of the major things that prevent du‘ās from being answered.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "O people, Allaah is Good and only accepts that which is good. Allaah commanded the pious to follow the same commandments as He gave to the Messengers..."

"Then he mentioned a man who has travelled on a long journey and is dishevelled and covered with dust; he stretches forth his hands to the heaven, (saying) O Lord, O Lord, but his food is haraam, his drink is haraam, all his nourishment is haraam, so how can he du‘ā be accepted?"
(Muslim, 1015)

The man described had some of the characteristics which help du‘ās to be answered, but the fact that he consumed haraam wealth prevented his du‘ā from being answered.

To be continued, In'sha'Allāh

Oh Allah almighty we need you and we are your humble slaves

Upon the authority of *Ubaadah ibn Saamit* who said:

“I heard the prophet – Sallallahu Alaihi wa sallam say:

*“Whoever seeks forgiveness for the male and female believers, Allah writes for him a good deed per male and female believer!”*

[Collected by At Tabaraani in musnadush Shaamiyeen 3/234 hadeeth no# 2155 and declared Hasan by sheikh Al Albaani in Saheeh al jaami’ 6026]

How to Make Dua That Are Accepted by Allah

7 Conditions for Dua Acceptance

If a supplication is combined with:
☆ a complete presence and consciousness of heart for the objective,
☆ coincides with the six prescribed times of acceptance - and they are: The last third of the night, the time [immediately after] the adhan, between the adhān and the iqāmah, at the end of the prescribed prayers [before the taslim], from the time the Imām ascends the minbar on the day of Jumu'ah until the Şalāh is completed, and the final hour [of Jumu'ah] after 'Asr,
☆ along with submissiveness in the heart and contrition before the Lord, feeling insignificant, imploring and feeble,
☆ while the one making du'ā faces the qiblah,
☆ is in a state of purity,
☆ raises his hands upwards towards Allāh - Lofty is He,
☆ and begins with praise and extolment of Allāh,
☆ then sends blessings and salutations upon Muhammad His servant and Messenger,
☆ then states his need for repentance and forgiveness before addressing Allāh,
☆ being persistent in his request while ingratiating oneself and flattering Him,
☆ calling on Him with hope and fear, ☆ seeking intercession by way of His Names, His Attributes and His Oneness,
☆ and offering an act of charity,
*Indeed this du'ā, it is rare that it would be rejected*
☆ especially if it corresponds with the supplications that the Prophet has informed us are most likely to be answered and they contain the Greatest Name of Allāh.

Three different ways of making duas by three different prophets

Different ways of making duas

In these three verses are  three different ways of making dua by three different prophets.
21:83, 21:87, 21:89

Prophet Ayoub a.s asks Allah through his situation. He does
not literally utter his need. Rather, he utters his exact situation and channels his pain and feelings to Allah.
And when Job cried out to his
Lord, "I have been touched with adversity, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful."
21:83

Prophet Yunus a.s remembers Allah, glorifies Him, and recognizes what he could have done better.
He does not echo what he needs, but he does echo his absolute
need for Allah.

And when the Man of the Whale stormed off in a rage, thinking
We would not restrain him.
Then in the 'veils of' darkness
he cried out,
"There is no god worthy of worship' except You. Glory be
to You! I have certainly done wrong." 21:87

Prophet Zakariya a.s makes a specific dua of exactly what he wants. He lays it out word for
word and is very clear and
hopeful in his Creator.
And when Zachariah cried out to his Lord, "My Lord! Do not leave me childless, for You are the Best of Successors." 21:89

*Come to Allah as you are.*
You can be very specific, or be hopeful in your future, or correcting of your past, or when
it feels just too much, be exactly you and channel your feelings to Him.

Trust in Allah's Plans: How to Find Peace and Contentment in Life

Trust in Allah's Plans: A Guide to Finding Peace and Contentment

Oh Allah, your destiny for me
is more beautiful than the duas
l'm making for myself.

Lead me towards your plans
for me and make me more
than content with it.

There's a mindset shift that happens when you actually  realize and believe Allah's plans for you are so much more better and more beautiful than the plans you have for yourself.

In the meantime, here are some things you can do to help you trust in Allah's plans:

  • Study the Quran and learn about Allah's attributes. This will help you to understand that Allah is all-knowing, all-wise, and all-merciful. He would not make a plan for you that is not in your best interest.

  • Spend time in prayer and meditation. This will help you to connect with Allah and to feel His presence in your life. When you are close to Allah, you will be more likely to trust in His plans.

  • Surround yourself with positive people who have strong faith. These people can encourage you and help you to stay focused on Allah's plans.

  • Practice gratitude. When you focus on the good things in your life, it will be easier to trust that Allah is working in your best interests.
