The Knowledgable VS the "Knowledgeable"
The real and true knowledgeable people are always humble, they don't brag nor claim to be scholars, their likening is to that of an apple tree, when it carries apples the apples flourish and the branches lower itself bearing the sweet fruits, and it spreads its fruits to every passer-by.
The one who claims to possess knowledge but in reality is nothing but an ignorant who is only fooling himself and deceiving others has a likening to that of a fruitless thorn filled tree, it stands upright. He is boastful of the little he knows and criticises the true people of knowledge trying to compete with them. They give verdicts without a thought and no regard of the hefty consequences. Indeed Allah knows and Allah will distinguish between His friends and His enemies.
Those who do not have knowledge and their minds are vacant, they will do anything and go to any extent to show off any bit of knowledge they have.
How far they are from the truth, because the more knowledge you have the more humble you become. Such a person is only looking for satisfaction to prove he’s something - even if it's by deception, lying and/or arrogance. They use any means.
We seek refuge in Allah from such evil company and their corrupt ways.
