What if a man doesn't pray but her wife commands to pray

Muḥammad b. Abī Hārūn informed me that Abū al-Ḥārith narrated to them - he said: “Abū ʿAbd Allah (ie: Imām Aḥmad) was asked about a man who forsakes the prayer,

أَخْبَرَنِي محمد بن أبي هارون، أن أبا الحارث حدثهم، قَالَ: سئل أبو عبد الله عن رجل يدع الصلاة،

And he has a wife who commands him to pray,

وله امرأة تأمره بالصلاة،

But he does not accept this and ignores her?”

فلا يقبل مِنْهُ ا:

He replied: “I think she should seek khulʿ (ie: annulment of marriage) from him.”

قَالَ: أرى أن تخلع مِنْهُ.
