- The Prophet Yunus was submerged by the ocean waves and swallowed by the whale - yet, some saints can walk on water and fly in the air?
- The Prophet Yusuf was thrown into the well, but his father, Prophet Yaโqub did not know that his son was in a well, and for years he did not know where his own son was to the extent that he lost his eyesight out of sadness - yet, some saints know the unseen?
- The Prophet Ayub was sick to the point that his skin fell off and his bones could be seen and he cried to God for help - yet, some saints can cure diseases?
- The Prophet Abraham had no children for many years, he begged God for children in his old age - yet, some saints can grant people children at will?
Are saints more powerful than Prophets?
Do you not read the Qurโan with understanding?
Ask the Creator for your needs, not the creation!
We believe in karamaat but many of the stories which people attribute to their saints are exaggerated and untrue.
And, being able to do supernatural events is not necessary a sign of someoneโs closeness to God, because Dajjaal will also do supernatural things which even saints can not do, but he is not closer to God than them!
We can honour our elders, without resorting to khurafaat (superstitions) and lies...
