Whenever you are tempted with satisfying your lustful desire
Whenever you are tempted with satisfying your lustful desires in ḥarām, remind yourself of the descriptions of Ḥūr al-ʿAyn that Allah has outlined in the Qur’ān (like in Sūrahs al-Wāqiʿah and al-Raḥmān), and then ask yourself which of the two you prefer (you can’t have both).
