Sheikh Sāleh al-Usaimi حفظه الله said about gaining knowledge

❝O student of knowledge:‏

Repeating & reviewing your lessons, & fixing your attention on them, is better than increasing in the amount of ur lessons without reviewing.

So lessen the number of your lessons, & master what you’re studying.❞

NOTE: It should be clear to every aspiring student of knowledge that the only way to attain knowledge is through the study of mutoon. 

Don’t lose sight of ur goals by becoming distracted with random lectures. Memorise , revise & read constantly. Use all ur faculties to seek knowledge , ur eyes, ears, hands & tongue. Don’t listen to YouTubers or influencers or those that haven’t studied at the feet of the scholars, they may come across as eloquent or entertaining , but since when has that been a measure of a persons knowledge ? Being an online celebrity or having 1000s of followers is not a sign of knowledge. Knowledge is that which brings you closer to Allah & gives you tranquility & certainty.
