Whoever takes knowledge from a Scholar, from a Shaykh, gains tremendous benefits
قال العلامة ابن عثيمين رحمه الله:
Al-‘Allāmah Ibn ‘Uthaymīn - may Allāh have mercy on him - said:
"...من أخذ عن عالم عن شيخ فإنه يستفيد فوائد عظيمة:
“Whoever takes knowledge from a Scholar, from a Shaykh, gains tremendous benefits:
الفائد الأولى: قِصر المدّة .
The first benefit: brevity in time (it takes to learn)
الفائدة الثانية: قلّةُ التّكلُّف .
The second benefit: little exertion.
الفائدة الثالثة: أن ذلك أحْرى بالصّواب ..."
The third benefit: that is more likely correct.
