HADITH OF THE DAY
🔺A Spine-Chilling Narration | O Allāh Have Mercy Upon Us.
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : إذا رأيتَ الله تعالى يُعطي العبد من الدنيا ما يحب وهو مقيم على معاصيه فإنما ذلك منه استدراج ٌ،
ثم تلا رسول الله صل الله عليه وسلم قوله تعالى : {فَلَمَّا نَسُواْ مَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَابَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى إِذَا فَرِحُواْ بِمَا أُوتُواْ أَخَذْنَاهُم بَغْتَةً فَإِذَا هُم مُّبْلِسُونَ}.
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “If you see Allāh, Exalted is He, giving the slave from this world what he loves while he is persistent upon his disobedience (to Allāh) then that is only from which he will be gradually brought (to destruction).”
Then the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ recited the saying of Allāh تعالى:
“So, when they forgot (the warning) with which they had been reminded, We opened to them the gates of every (pleasant) thing, until in the midst of their enjoyment in that which they were given, all of a sudden, We took them to punishment, and lo! They were plunged into destruction with deep regrets and sorrows.” • [Sūrah al-An'ām Āyah no. 44]
