The Prophet's Concern for the Well-Being of His Ummah

The Prophet's Prayer for Intercession

O ALLAH! MY UMMAH! MY UMMAH!

▶️Most beloved people by Prophet Muhammad[salle allahu alai hi wa sallam]

{Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 6791}

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah Allah’s Apostle (peace be upon him) said: The people most loved by me from amongst my Ummah would be those who would come after me but everyone amongst them would have the keenest desire to catch a glimpse of me even at the cost of his family and wealth.

▶️In Ummah, some people will kill or imprison others.

{Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 6904}

▫️Narrated byThawban
Allah’s Apostle (peace be upon him) said: Allah drew the ends of the world together for my sake. I have seen its eastern and western ends. The dominion of my Ummah will reach those ends which have been drawn together near me and I have been granted the red and the white treasures. I begged my Lord that my Ummah should not be destroyed by famine, nor be dominated by a foreign enemy who will take their lives and destroy them root and branch. My Lord said: Muhammad, whenever I make a decision, there is none to change it. Well, I grant you that your Ummah will not be destroyed by famine, nor will it be dominated by a foreign enemy who will take their lives and destroy them root and branch, even if all the people from the different parts of the world join hands together (for this purpose). However, it will be from amongst them, viz. your Ummah, that some people will kill or imprison others.

*Note: This is exactly what is happening for many years either sectarianism/ignorance or Mutual jealousy/rivalry. For Ex: The killing of Sunnites in Iraq by Shiaites.Kuffar play games with Muslims and Muslims due to ignorance harms their brotherhood.

▶️No bloodshed among the people of my Ummah, but He did not grant it.

◽{Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 6906}

▫️Narrated bySa’d ibn AbuWaqqas
One day Allah’s Apostle (peace be upon him) came from high land. He passed by the mosque of Banu Mu’awiyah, went in, and observed two rak’ahs there we also observed prayer along with him and he made a long supplication to his Lord. He then came to us and said: I asked my Lord three things and He has granted me two but has withheld one. I begged my Lord that my Ummah should not be destroyed because of famine and He granted me this. And I begged my Lord that my Ummah should not be destroyed by drowning (by deluge) and He granted me this. And I begged my Lord that there should be no bloodshed among the people of my Ummah, but He did not grant it.

*Note:After Allah subhanawatala’s command to be undivided, Muslims did divided. Allah subhanawatala commanded not to practice oppression but Muslims did practiced it.

▶️My Ummah (nation) will be tried through wealth

{Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 481}

▫️Narrated byKa’b ibn Iyad
I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: Every ummah (nation) has a test to undergo, my Ummah (nation) will be tried through wealth.
Transmitted by Tirmidhi.

▶️O Lord, my Ummah, my Ummah

{Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 397}

▫️Narrated byAbdullah ibn Amr ibn al-‘As
Verily the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) recited the words of Allah, the Great and Glorious, that Ibrahim uttered: My Lord! Lo! they have led many of mankind astray: “But whoso followeth me, he verily is of me” (al-Qur’an, xiv.35), and Jesus (peace be upon him) said: “If thou punisheth them, lo! they are Thy slaves, and if Thou forgiveth them–verily Thou art the Mighty, the Wise” (al-Qur’an, v.117). Then he raised his hands and said: O Lord, my Ummah, my Ummah, and wept. So Allah, the High, and the Exalted said: O Gabriel, go to Muhammad (though your Lord knows it fully well) and ask him: what makes thee weep? So Gabriel (p.) came to him and asked him, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) informed him of what he had said (though Allah knew it fully well). Upon this Allah said: O Gabriel, go to Muhammad and say: Verily We shall please thee with regard to your Ummah and shall not displease thee.

▶️My prayer for the intercession of my Ummah
