The promise of Allah | Success for the righteous

Allah ﷻ says in Surah Luqman: 

*إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتُ ٱلنَّعِيمِ*

*Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them are the Gardens of Pleasure.*

*خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقًّۭا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ*

*Wherein they abide eternally; [it is] the promise of Allah [which is] truth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.*

[31:8-9]

In another verse Allah ﷻ promised the believers :

*إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱشْتَرَىٰ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَمْوَٰلَهُم بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلْجَنَّةَ ۚ*

*Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise.*

*يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَقْتُلُونَ وَيُقْتَلُونَ* ۖ

*They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed.*

 [9:11] 

This means that Allah ﷻ will compensate His believing servant with *Paradise* for their lives and wealth , if they give them up in His cause. 

This demonstrate Allah's favour, generosity and bounty.

Suhayb reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, *_“When the people of Paradise enter it, Allah Almighty will say: Would you like anything more? They will say: Have you not brightened our faces? Have you not admitted us into Paradise and saved us from Hellfire? Then, Allah will lift the veil and nothing they are given will be more beloved to them than looking at their Lord Almighty.” Then, the Prophet recited the verse, “For those who do good is more.” (10:26)_*

_

And Allah ﷻ also say :

*إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ ٱلْمِيعَادَ*

*Indeed, Allah does not fail in His promise.*

[3:9]

Reflect!

This verse tells us that Allah ﷻ has promised His followers a great place in paradise, if they remain true to their obligations in His way and fight for a noble cause. 

So, we should take the opportunity to remain faithful to our religious commitments.

_

How many times have we refused this from ourselves? By sinning and being arrogant to Allah ﷻ!

_

Do we not want this for ourselves? Jannah has pleasures beyond the imagination, for eternity! 

But it depends on us and whether we are deserving, whether we can sacrifice the cheap pleasures of this world in order to prepare for the Hereafter.

_

Turn back to Allah ﷻ and strive on the straight path and make use of your blessings before death!

May Allah ﷻ grant us a deeper understanding and forgive all our sins and grant us Jannatul Firdaus.
