KHALIDAH bint al-Harith was the paternal aunt of 'Abdullah bin Salam, the Jewish scholar who embraced Islam.
(His story can be found in sahih al bukhari 3938).
Abdullah bin Salam said,
"When I heard of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I recognized his attributes, his name, and the time he would appear, which all coincided with our books.
When he arrived in Madinah, a man informed me of his arrival while I was atop my date palm tree.
I exclaimed, 'Allah is the Greatest!'
My aunt, who was sitting beneath me, said, 'By Allah, if you had heard that Musa was coming, you would not have been more enthusiastic.'
I said to her, 'O Auntie, I swear by Allah, he is the brother of Musa who has been sent.'
She said, 'Is he the Prophet that we were informed would appear during this time?'
I said, 'Yes'.
She said, 'So be it.'
My aunt Khalidah bint al-Harith embraced Islam, and I went to my household and they embraced Islam.
