Unlocking the Blessings of Du'a on the Day of ‘Arafah in Islam
The Day of ‘Arafah is a special and blessed occasion in Islam, one of the most significant days of the year, especially during the Hajj pilgrimage. It is a day when Allah’s mercy and blessings are abundant, and the opportunity for sincere supplication is unparalleled.
Imam al-Awza’ee (rahimahullah) shared a beautiful insight: he observed that people would reserve their most heartfelt du’as (supplications) for the Day of ‘Arafah, hoping that Allah would answer them. Al-Awza’ee mentioned that some individuals would say:
“For fifty years I have been supplicating on the Day of ‘Arafah, and the year does not go by except that I see the answer of my du’a come to pass as clear as the morning light.”
