How Islam began and how it will return

Islam Began as Something Strange and it will Return to Being Something Strange

Islam originally began as a strange phenomenon in society. The idea of worshiping only one God and adhering to universal moral teachings was distasteful to the pre-Islamic Arab society whose ethics and loyalties were based upon tribalism.

After Islam won the hearts and minds of the Arabs and subsequently spread throughout the world, the teachings of Islam were no longer viewed as strange at all. However, the Prophet warned us that days would come when Islam would return to being strange in society just as it began.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

بَدَأَ الإِسْلاَمُ غَرِيبًا وَسَيَعُودُ كَمَا بَدَأَ غَرِيبًا فَطُوبَى لِلْغُرَبَاءِ

"Islam began as a something strange and it will return to being strange, so blessed are the strangers." [Muslim 145]

There will be times and places when being a Muslim is very difficult and the mainstream society will shun the teachings of Islam. Muslims will be viewed as weird, troublesome, or even enemies of the state. Yet if we face such trials, we should rejoice because blessed are the strangers.

The scholars interpreted the Prophet’s statement by gathering various narrations from different companions in which the strangers are described.

In another narration, the Prophet(ﷺ) said:

أُنَاسٌ صَالِحُونَ فِي أُنَاسِ سُوءٍ كَثِيرٍ مَنْ يَعْصِيهِمْ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّنْ يُطِيعُهُمْ

"They are righteous people among many evil people. Those who disobey them are greater in number than those who obey them." [Ah‌mad 6612 (Sahih)]

And in another narration, the Prophet(ﷺ) said:

الَّذِينَ يُصْلِحُونَ إِذَا فَسَدَ النَّاسُ

"They are those who reform the people when they have become corrupt.". [Ah‌mad 16249(Sahih)]

The strangers in Islam are those who are a minority among a majority of wicked people, calling to Allah and to righteousness despite the scorn of society.

In another narration, the Prophet(ﷺ) said:

النُّزَّاعُ مِنْ الْقَبَائِلِ

"They are those who depart from the tribes." [Ibn Ma‌jah 3988(Sahih)]

When the persecution of society becomes too much to bear, the strangers will be forced to leave their homelands in order to practice their religion.

An-Nawawi commented on this narration, saying:

أَرَادَ بِذَلِكَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ الَّذِينَ هَجَرُوا أَوْطَانَهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ تَعَالَى

"What is meant are those who emigrate from their homelands to Allah the Exalted." [Sharh‌ S‌ah‌i‌h‌ Muslim 147]

This interpretation is supported by another narration, although there is weakness in it:

الْفَرَّارُونَ بِدِينِهِمْ يُجْمَعُونَ إِلَى عِيسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

"They are those who flee with their religion. They will be gathered with Jesus the son of Mary on the Day of Resurrection." [Zuhd Ah‌mad ibn Hanbal 236]

Scholars also explained the meaning of strangers as the disappearance of the correct understanding of Islam and the prophetic tradition (sunnah).

Al-Awza’i said:

"Islam will not disappear but the people of the Sunnah will disappear until none remain in any country except a single man." [Kashf al-Kurbah 1/7]

Islam itself will always exist outwardly in various forms and misguided sects, but the strangers will be the few who revive true Islam when misguided Islamic philosophies and ideologies predominate.

This interpretation is supported by another narration, although there is weakness in it:

الَّذِينَ يُحْيُونَ سُنَّتِي وَيُعَلِّمُونَهَا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ

"They are those who revive my practice (sunnah) and teach it to the servants of Allah." [Zuhd al-Bayhaqi‌ 215]

The number of Muslims who understand and practice the faith correctly will continue to decrease until they are a very small minority, even to the pkoint that large crowds of people will abandon Islam altogether.

An Italian priest accepted Islam by Sheikh Al-Sumait

An Italian priest accepted Islam by Sheikh Al-Sumait

True Story
An Italian priest refused to help Sheikh Al-Sumait after his car broke down in a remote area, and told him to let Muhammad (SAW) rescue you.
Italian priest accepted Islam
Italian priest accepted Islam

The sheikh repaired his car and continued his trip and Allah destined him to encounter the priest on the road again as now the priests car broke down further ahead, so the sheikh got out of the car accompanied by young men with him and they helped the priest until the car was repaired. The priest began to sweat from shame, and the sheikh promptly said, "It would not be good from us not to help you, this is what our religion has commanded us to do."

The sheikh continues, "After a while, I heard news that came to me that everyone who was with the priest in the car and were (Catholic Christians) had converted to Islam, without us speaking to them a single word about Islam!"

Alhamdullilah

Do good for nothing, as it will bear fruit one day.

The head of the matter is Islam

The head of the matter is Islam

“Shall I not inform you of the head of the matter, its pillar and its peak?” I said, “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He (صلي الله عليه وسلم ) said, “The head of the matter is Islam, its pillar is the prayer and its peak is jihad.”

Which is the valid religion to Allah

Which is the valid religion to Allah

THE ONLY VALID RELIGION TO ALLAAH IS ISLAAM

Allah says;

Do they seek other than the religion of Allah, while to Him submitted all creatures in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly.

Allah rebukes those who prefer a religion other than the religion that He sent His Books and Messengers with, which is the worship of Allah Alone without partners, to Whom,
(submitted all creatures in the heavens and the earth), Willingly, or not.

Allah said in other Ayat,

And unto Allah (Alone) falls in prostration whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly. (13:15)

and,

Have they not observed things that Allah has created:(how) their shadows incline to the right and to the left, making prostration unto Allah, and they are lowly.

And to Allah prostrate all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, of the moving creatures and the angels, and they are not proud.

They fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded. (16:48-50)

Therefore, the faithful believer submits to Allah in heart and body, while the disbeliever unwillingly submits to Him in body only, since he is under Allah's power, irresistible control and mighty kingship that cannot be repelled or resisted.

Waki reported that Mujahid said that;

the Ayah,
(While to Him submitted all creatures in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly),

is similar to the Ayah,

And verily, if you ask them:"Who created the heavens and the earth!" Surely, they will say:"Allah." (39:38)

He also reported that Ibn Abbas said about,
(while to Him submitted all creatures in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly),

"When He took the covenant from them."

And to Him shall they all be returned.

on the Day of Return, when He will reward or punish each person according to his or her deeds.

Nothing is wasted and nothing is meaningless in Islam

Nothing is wasted and nothing is meaningless in Islam

The beauty of Islam is that nothing is wasted, nothing is meaningless.

Giving some water to a thirsty homeless animal can wipe out all your past sins.

Birds and animals eating from plants you grow in your garden is a charity.

A compassionate touch on an orphan's head is appreciated by Allah.

A smile and a good word are praised.

Cherishing your own family is a charity.

Honouring your parents is highly estimated and rewarded.

Even your pains, physical and emotional great and small, nothing of them is wasted or meaningless, all are counted.

This is the nature of having a trade with Allah. The most generous

The way to find Allah

THE WAY TO FIND ALLAH

Books to understand Islam

Bismillah

The Prophet Muhammad’s (ﷺ) role is to put this divine message into words that we can understand. He demonstrates the kind of life that God expects man and the whole of creation to lead. The Qur’an—the word of God in Arabi - is the foundation of this inspired path. The sunnah - the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), collected in several volumes—provides clarification of the Holy Book.

Whoever seriously wishes to understand Islam should study these books. These are the authentic source of God’s religion.

Someone once asked me: “Don’t you ever doubt your religion"

Someone once asked me: “Don’t you ever doubt your religion?”

My response was: “Yes, I often do. But I don’t leave myself at the mercy of doubt for long; I reflect on it and, using objective evidence and honest analysis, I arrive at certainty quickly!”

Let me explain further my objective evidence and honest analysis.

1. When I took at the Qur’an I find no linguistic, scientific or historical mistakes.

2. When I study the teachings contained in the Qur’an I find a book full of wisdom and guidance.

3. When I asses the core message of the Qur’an I find its message of justice for all, at all times and costs, extremely empowering.

4. When I put the Qur’anic principles of morality and ethics to the test, they always pass with overwhelming distinction, because they provide a universal standard that is based on human beings’ natural disposition. The Quran is practical and its overall outcome is balance and harmony.

5. When I examine the Qur’anic theory of economic, social, political and spiritual equality between all human beings I am truly humbled because it entitles all human beings to innate freedom, dignity and worth.

6. When I reflect on the Qur’an’s interest-free and fairtrade economic framework, I am overwhelmed because I can see the outcome to be more egalitarian, equitable and fair for all people in the society.

7. When I evaluate the Qur’anic model of leadership based on leaders possessing the highest standard of character including probity, truthfulness, sobriety and God-consciousness, I am left speechless because such leaders would bring stability and instil hope amongst people.

8. When I analyse the Qur’anic model of governance founded on people’s right to choose who should govern them, their right to be consulted and their right to hold their leaders to account, I am left with no doubt about the truth of its message.

9. When I study the life of the man who claimed to be the prophet who received the revelation, that is, the Qur’an from God, I find he had the most immaculate character. His people universally called him “the truthful and trustworthy”, God labelled him as a “mercy to the universe” and possessor of “supreme moral standards.”Intelligent human beings of the world throughout history have written volumes in his praise. Having considered this, I am left totally convinced by the message and the Messenger.

10. When I wonder what is expected of me from the Qur’an, I am surprised to find that all I am expected to do is to use my brain objectively and my heart freely to arrive at the most obvious conclusion - if the Qur’an is free of mistakes, the messenger who conveyed it is flawless and its teachings are sound, comprehensive and contemporaneous, then I should simply follow it.

11. Even after all the analysis and examinations of evidence, if I am in any doubt about the Qur’an, I have every right to reject it. The Qur’an places a challenge before I make my final decision - “If you have doubts about the revelation We have sent down to Our servant, then produce a single surah (chapter) like it- enlist whatever supporters you have other than God- if you truly [think you can]. (The Qur’an 2:23)

After this objective examination of the evidence and honest analysis using my brain and heart I am left with no doubt about my faith. I am left totally convinced that Islam is the truth. I am honoured and humbled to be a Muslim. If you are a Muslim be humble and grateful; if you are not a Muslim, you should try Islam, I am sure you will love it!

The story of the Talib Ilm who never met a Shaykh

Learn about islam without a single book | from zero to hero learn islam

👉One painful reality when seeking knowledge especially in the land of the kuffar, Many of you may find you do not know of one single scholar you can sit under & take from. I want to share with you a story from the shuyūkh of Malik Saud University

👉 There was a student who came from Russia, No access to scholars, No students of knowledge to sit under rather his source of knowledge was merely books, Tapes & the prerecorded lectures. He applied for the BA program at the university &  the shaykh who interviewed him in all honesty felt a sense of pity.

👉The thought in the shaykh's mind was ❝This man came from Russia, There's no way he's going to have even half the knowledge to be accepted so why did he travel here? Perhaps had he studied more he would have a chance but at this point in time he's wasted his money &  time.❞

👉 However the shaykh goes on with the normal protocol  and questions the student on Fiqh, Aqeedah, Hadith, Tafseer, Nahl & to the shaykh's surprise the student has a developed understanding of everything.
The shaykh astounded at this young man's ilm, No known scholar has visited his hometown yet he has the knowledge of a talib ilm? The shaykh asks from where did you learn all this?

👉To which the student replies
I watched 5000 hours of shaykh uthaymeen's lectures online❞..The young student was then told at this point he's too advanced even for the BA program, He was accepted into the university &  placed into a higher program than the BA degree he initially applied for.

Umar ibn Abdul Azeez (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

If you are not able, then be a student.

If you are unable to do that, then (at least) do not hate them.

Hindu beliefs about islam | Hindutva agenda against islam

Hindu beliefs about islam | Hindutva agenda against islam

🚩 HINDUTVA BELIEFS  🚩

Some excerpts taken from the video of Dr. Abū Zayd Al-Maqrī al-Idrisī in which he discusses some beliefs of Hindutvas written in the book "Mutāmi' al-hindūs fī bilād al-muslimeēn" by Professor Alif al-Dīn al-Turabī (May Allah have mercy upon him).

🚩 Each summer millions of Children, young men and women in India are trained in the camps organized by Hindutvas. They are trained on a map of "The Hindu Empire" which extends from Western Egypt to Western China and from Aram (Russia) to Mali.

🚩 Hindutvas claim that the God Rama was ruling this land and the Muslims usurped it from them.

🚩 They claim that the Ka'ba is actually the house of God Rama, which has been stolen by the Muslims and it's colour was changed to black after it was Red.

🚩 They claim that the Muslims stole the belief of worshipping God Rama and attributed it to Allah.

🚩 They claim that the Muslims stole the act of Tawāf ( Muslims encircling the Holy Ka'ba seven times in an anti-clockwise direction as part of Umrah or Hajj) because they also encircle their idols.

🚩 They claim that the Muslims changed the colour of Ihrām (male pilgrims wearing two lengths of white cloth whilst on Hajj) to White instead of Red.
