The root cause of most Shirk since the beginning of time
Major Sin In Islam:
Thus you see uncanny resemblances between the beliefs, rituals and rites of past and present Mushrikeen.
One of which is that Mushrikeen assign for each of their deities a day of celebration in which offerings and ceremonial vows are made to that deity in particular and its blessings are sought.
Just like Hindus have their Vasant Panchami (in honor of goddess: Sarawasti), Maha Shivaratri (Shiva), Hanuman Jayanti (Hunuman), Krishnashtami (Krishna), Radhashtami (Radha), etc.
Grave worshipers have the Urs of their respective deities, Ganj Baksh has his Urs, and similarly Ganj Shakar has his Urs when the Jannati Darwaza is opened, while Ghaus-e-Azam has his Giyarwheen Shareef, etc.
What is even more uncanny is that Hindus have their own Giyarwheen Shareef, celebrated on the eleventh of each lunar month. It is called Ekadashi (Ek=one, Dash=ten, i.e. eleven).
It is in honor of one their greatest deities, Vishnu, just like Giyarwheen Shareef is in honor of the greatest of deities of the saint worshipers, Abdul Qadir, aka Ghaus-e-Azam!
أَتَوَاصَوْا بِهِ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ
Did they recommend it to one another? Rather, they are transgressing nations! [51: 53]
i.e. transgression and exceeding limits has led all those different nations in different eras to arrive at similar forms of Kufr!
