Allamah Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen on manners
Allamah Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen, رحمه الله said:
Silence in places of temptation is better than persistence.
And silence is better than speaking.
“The one who sits is better than the one who is standing.
And the one who stands is better than the one who walks.
“A person must hold back his tongue and deafen his ears from speech that has no benefit, and there is nothing in it except gossip and a lot of questions,
The more a person preserve his tongue , the safer it is to his religion.
