Dua is accepted in the middle of the night
Sahīh Bukhari Hadith:
Du’ā in the Middle of the Night
What is meant by the middle of the night is the time before dawn which begins at the last third of the night up until the adhān of Fajr. This time is distinguished by the descending of al-Mawlā (The Master) ﷻ to the lowest sky, a descending which is befitting His Majesty ﷻ. Allāh ﷻ bestows favors on His worshippers, fulfills their needs, relieves them of their difficulties and answers their supplications.
It is narrated on the authority of Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه who said: The Messenger ﷺ said, “Our Lord - Blessed is He and Most High - descends to the lowest sky every night when a third of the night remains and He says, ‘Who is supplicating to Me so that I may answer him? Who is asking Me so that I can give him? Who is seeking My forgiveness so that I may forgive him?’”
