Interesting accounts I came across during my read of Juhud al-Mar'ah fi Riwayah al-Ḥadith:
🎓'Ã'ishah bint Ibrāhīm ibn Ṣadīq (d. 741 AH): Wife of al-Ḥāfiz al-Mizzi She was described as someone who indulged in exhaustive amounts of worship. She listened to Hadith & narrated it.
🎓Fatimah bint Muḥammad ad-Dimashqiyyah (d. 756 AH): Wife of Imam adh-Dhahabi - She would relate narrations from her husband to numerous scholars of Hadith of her era.
🎓Khadījah bint az-Zayn 'Abd ar-Raḥmān ibn Yūsuf al-Mizzī (d. 764AH): Granddaughter of al-Ḥāfiz al-Mizzī She heard from a large amount of Muḥaddithin of her time and narrated on their
authority. She was described as a "Shaykhah Ṣāliḥah."
🎓'Ama 'al-Aziz bint al-Ḥāfiz Shams ad-Dīn adh-Dhahabi (d. 785 AH): Daughter of Imam adh-Dhahabī - Growing up under the tutelage of her father, at a young age she took interest in Riwayah al-Ḥadīth after hearing from her father & other Muḥaddithin that was around him. She continued the rest of her life being a narrator of Ḥadīth & became the equivalent of her father.
🎓Zaynab bint 'Abdullāh ibn 'Abd al-Ḥalim ibn Taymiyyah al- Ḥanbalīyyah (d. 799 AH): Niece of Shaykh al-Islām ibn Taymiyyah - She was from the famous & most prominent Muḥaddithāt, known to be a source of great benefit for her people. She narrated Hadith & gave Ijāzah to al-Ḥāfiz ibn Ḥajar al-'Asqalānī.
