is it permissible to supplicate to Allāh in other than Arabic language
Shaykh ul-Islām ibn Taymiyyah [may Allāh have mercy on him] said:
“It is permissible to supplicate [to Allāh] in Arabic and in languages other than Arabic. Allāh, Glory be to Him, knows the intention of the one who is supplicating and his needs, irrespective of what language he speaks, because He hears all supplications, in all different languages, asking for all kinds of needs.”
