is it permissible to wish the Kuffaar on their pagan festivities
The fact that we are even having a need to discuss whether it is permissible to wish the Kuffaar on their pagan festivities (Christians on Christmas, Hindus on Diwali or Ganpati etc) speaks volumes on how much we need to learn #Tawheed & warn against #Shirk.
๐นWe want to please a people who are reviling Allaah?!
๐นWe want to please a people about whom Allaah ุชุนุงูู said that they will never be pleased with us till we follow their religion?!
๐น We know that ascribing a son to Allaah is far worse than a man fornicating with his mother, yet it does not bother us?!
๐น Is it not the situation where we need say to them: โTo you is your religion and to me is mineโ?!
๐น When we do not compel them to follow our religion, then why should we be compelled to follow theirs?!
Think before you wish the Kuffaar on their pagan/religious festivities:
Abu Hurairah ุฑุถู ุงููู ุนูู reported: I heard the Prophet ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ูุณูู saying: โA person utters a word thoughtlessly (i.e., without thinking about its being good or not) and, as a result of this, he will fall down into the fire of Hell deeper than the distance between the east and the west.โ
