Medicine for Forgetfulness | Leave Sins
The Medicine for Forgetfulness. ‘Alī ibn Khashram - may Allāh have mercy on him - said:
“I never saw in the hand of Wakī’ a book; indeed he only memorized.
So I asked him about the medicine for memorization so he said: ‘If I teach you the medicine will you use it?’
I said: ‘Yes, by Allāh.’ He said: ‘Leave sins. I haven’t tried anything similar to it for memorization.’”
