📥Question:
Is fasting the day of Nahr allowed for the one performing Hajj?
📤Answer:
No it is not allowed, not for the one doing hajj or other than him, the Prophet ﷺ prohibited from fasting the day of Nahr and the day of Adhā and Fitr, for the one performing Hajj and other than them, verily the Prophet ﷺ gave permission to fast three days for the one who couldn't find a hadiy (sacrificial animal), the Prophet ﷺ didn't give concession for them to fast except the ones who couldn't find a hadiy, the hadith is in the Sahīh, as for other than the one performing Hajj then no, he doesn't fast all of those 4 days, the day of Nahr and the three which are after it, days of eating and drinking and remembrance of Allāh, even if it was a day he usually fast he is not to fast it.
And if it is a concession for the one who cannot find a hadiy, then it takes more precedence that it is for those who owe fasting two consecutive months, for verily he breaks on the day of Nahr and he fasts directly after it in the three appointed days because it is allowed to fast them out of necessity as proceeded in the hadith of Aā'ishah.
