Sins destroy relationships |

follow up question

If sins destroy relationships, why do we find some sinners having good relationships despite their sinning?

ANSWER:

Ibnul Qayyim rahimahullah said:

“Concerning the people of sin and immorality, even if there is some form of affection and love between them, (inevitably) it turns to enmity and hatred, and most often this (outcome) is hastened for them in this world before the Hereafter. As for the Hereafter, then (Allah has said):

{الْأَخِلَّاءُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا الْمُتَّقِينَ}

'Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to one another, except for the righteous.'
[Al-Zukhruf: 67].”
