END OF RAMADAAN | Islamic Reminders

*ADVISE OF SHEIKH SAALIH IBN FAWZAAN AL FAWZAAN (رحمه الله)*

"Even if the month of Ramadaan came to an end, the rights of Allaah do not end until death.

*وَٱعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ ٱلْيَقِينُ*

*And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death)*

(Al Hijr 15:99)

Allaah is the Lord of the month of Ramadaan, the Lord of the month of Shawwal, and the Lord of all the months of the year.

So fear Allaah in all the months guard your deen!

Guard your deen!

Guard your deen throughout your life!

Because it is your main asset with Allaah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى), and it is your salvation from the Hell fire.

So guard your deen and hold on to it in all the months and at all times.

Verily, the month of Ramadaan is to be followed by giving thanks, asking for forgiveness and being happy with the favours of Allaah, who has enabled us to fast and pray in it.

So we rejoice due to this blessing and not because of the passing away of the month (of Ramadaan).

Rather, we rejoice as we have followed through (Ramadaan) with the worship of Allaah.

That's why we rejoice!

*قُلْ بِفَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِۦ فَبِذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا۟ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ*

*Say, 'In the bounty of Allaah and in His mercy - in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate."*

(Yoonus 10:58)

So beware from indulging in a lot of entertainment and play.

And beware from heedlessness and giving up the obedience of Allaah.

Because Satan is eager to waste your (good) deeds.

And he wants to erase all that you have done from good actions.

So when Ramadaan ends, (satan) lures and entices some of the people, so they become free and unrestrained as if they have been released from prison.

So they become free to indulge in entertainment and play, heedlessness, wastage of prayers and other forbidden actions.

Do not waste away (those good deeds) which you have worked hard for lest you become:

*...كَٱلَّتِى نَقَضَتْ غَزْلَهَا مِنۢ بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍ...*

*...like she who untwisted her spun thread after it was strong...*

(An Nahl 16:92)

So fear Allaah O Slaves of Allaah!

Guard what you have worked for, from the good deeds, and repent to Allaah for your shortcomings and mistakes because Allaah accepts the repentance of those who repent."
