1) He walked from Makkah to Taif. The path was not paved like it is today; the path was rough, rocky, and mountainous.
2) He would walk with his companions and refuse to ride on the camel while the others walked when it was offered to him. He said that they were not stronger than him in walking so that they would offer him the camel, nor did the Prophet (peace be upon him) believe himself to be in less need of the reward ( ما أنتما بأقوى على المشي مني وما أنا بأغنى عن الأجر منكما). 3) While the Muslims were digging ditches in preparation for the Battle of Khandaq, they stumbled upon a great rock they could not move from its place. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was the one who came and shattered it from its place.
