Veil (Hijāb)
You look at her and call her oppressed, simply because of the way she is dressed.
Undeniably you do not know that this is not just a piece of cloth that covers her.
For it is the declaration of her faith.
For it symbolizes her journey of devotion.
For it is the physical manifestation of submission to her Allah.
For it renews her commitment to her Allah.
For it is an act of obedience and righteousness.
For it is an expression of her chastity and modesty.
For it is her shield against the sins and evil temptations of this fleeting world.
For she is a jewel, and her beauty is not for everyone.
_Certainly, her veil is much more than a piece of cloth wrapped around her head; something far greater than the human mind can comprehend!_
