Allah’s Endless Forgiveness: Embrace His Mercy

The Infinite Mercy and Forgiveness of Allah

Allah Loves to Forgive

⭐ _There is no one who forgives like Allah. No matter what we may have done, Allah is waiting for us to turn to Him with sincerity and humility, and beg Him to forgive us._ He is al-Ghafūr (The All-Forgiving) and al-Ghaffār (The Most Forgiving). He (ʿazza wa jall) says, “Say, (O Prophet, that _Allah says,): O My servants who have transgressed against their souls! *Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins. He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful” (39:53 ).*

⭐Allah (ʿazza wa jall) says in a ḥadīth qudsī: “Son of Ādam, as long as you call upon Me and hope in Me, I will forgive you despite what you do, and I do not care. Son of Ādam, even if your sins were to reach to the clouds of the sky, then you seek forgiveness from Me, I will forgive you. Son of Ādam, even if you were to come to Me with nearly an earth full of sins, and then you meet Me, not having associated anything with Me, then I will surely bring you as much as the earth in forgiveness” (Tirmidhī).

⭐Ibn Rajab (raḥimahullāh) outlined three essential means of attaining forgiveness in the above hadīth:

*1.* Calling Allah with hope, knowing that only He forgives.

*2.* Asking Him for forgiveness, despite the magnitude of one’s sins.

*3.* Tawhīd; this is the greatest means of forgiveness. If even a speck of tawhīd was placed on a mountain of sins, it would turn them into good deeds.

⭐Allah (ʿazza wa jall) is Free of all need, and yet we find His messengers telling those who reject Allah: *“Can there be any doubt about Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth?! He is inviting you in order to forgive you your sins…” (14:10).*

⭐ _Not only does Allah forgive, but he loves those who constantly repent and seek His forgiveness_ . From His immense kindness, He instructs His angels – including the Bearers of the Throne – to supplicate for our forgiveness! *The Prophet ﷺ explained that Allah’s delight at His servant’s repentance is greater than the delight of a person who was travelling in a desert, lost all his belongings, and then unexpectedly found them* .

⭐ *As humans, we struggle to forgive each other, let alone reciprocate evil with good. Allah, on the other hand, does not only conceal and forgive, but He also “changes their evil deeds into good ones” (25:70). Moreover, He showers us with worldly blessings as a result of us seeking forgiveness, including wealth, children and strength (see 71:12 and 11:52).* Allāhu Akbar!

⭐ *The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “A believer will be brought close to his Lord on the Day of Judgement and He will place him within His Veil. Then, He will make him confess his sins by saying: ‘Do you recognise this?’ He will reply: ‘My Lord, I do.’ Then He will say: ‘Indeed I concealed them for you in the world, and I am indeed forgiving you for them today.’ Then the record of his good deeds will be given to him.” (Bukhārī)*

The Best Du‘ā’ for Seeking Forgiveness: A Path to Paradise

Learn the Most Effective Way to Seek Forgiveness from Allah

⭐THE BEST WAY TO SEEK FORGIVENESS

🔹There are many different ways and words one can use to seek forgiveness from Allah. The best manner, however, is to seek forgiveness with the following du‘ā’:

🔹O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god worthy of worship except You. You have created me, and I am Your slave, and I am under Your covenant and pledge (to fulfil it) to the best of my ability. I seek Your protection from the evil that I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon me, and I admit my sins. Forgive me, for none forgives sins but You.

🎗️Shaddād b. Aws (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The most superior manner of seeking forgiveness is that you say [the above]. Whoever says it during the day with firm belief in it and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise. And whoever says it during the night with firm belief in it and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.” (Bukhārī 6306)

Repentance and Hope | Islamic Reminder

Repentance and Hope | Islamic Reminder

﷽

✨ Repentance and Hope ✨

In last week's post we read that turning to Allah and seeking His Mercy requires repentance for one's mistakes. Just as physical space is needed to place something, the heart must be cleared of worldly distractions to fill it with faith and light. This purification, essential for spiritual growth, starts with repentance, as the Quran advises: "And always, O you believers – all of you – turn unto God in repentance, so that you might attain to a happy state!" (An-Nur 24:31).

Repentance should be accompanied by a certain feeling that Ibn Ataa’ emphasizes here in this word of wisdom. It is hope in Allah. But why is hope necessary for repentance? And what does this have to do with my journey? This is what Ibn Ataa’ explains here. He says:

“If you find yourself having less hope in Allah when you make a mistake, then realize you are only relying on your work, not on Allah’s Mercy.”

This means that if you are keen to rely on Allah’s Mercy and put all your trust in Him, make sure that you are not self-righteous! Do not think that you have achieved virtue because of your efforts and deeds. And among the signs of one’s relying on his/her deeds, more than on Allah’s Mercy and Bounty, is the decrease in hope when one makes a mistake. Hope in Him should always be at the same level.

Avoid those things that necessitate the punishment of the grave

Ibn al-Qayyim: Sit for a short while before you sleep and do this …

Ibn al-Qayyim said: "Avoid those things that necessitate the punishment of the grave.

And from the most beneficial of them is that when a man wants to sleep, he sits for an hour, for the Sake of Allaah, calling himself to account over the things that he has lost and gained during that day of his. Then, between him and his Lord, he renews his sincere repentance over those things that he lost, and sleeps on that repentance, firmly resolving not to return to the sin when he wakes up–and he does this every night.
So if he dies on that night of his, he would have died upon repentance and if he wakes up, he will wake up going towards action, pleased with the postponement of his appointed time so that he can turn to his Lord and set right what he missed out on.
And there is nothing more beneficial for the servant than this sleep, especially when he follows that [i.e., his resolve to renew his repentance] up with the remembrance of Allaah, performing those sunnahs which have been reported from the Prophet of Allaah when going to bed, [doing so] until sleep overtakes him.
So whoever Allaah wishes good for, He will grant him the success to do that. And there is neither movement, nor power except through Allaah.”

Repent and Be Forgiven: Allah's Mercy is Bountiful

Repentance and Forgiveness: The Path to Jannah

➖➖➖
 REPENT! OH SON OF ADAM!
➖➖➖
Allah ﷻ is most forgiving and most merciful
➖➖➖
Allah ﷻ says

Say: "Oh you from among my slaves who transgressed against themselves, do not despair in the mercy of Allaah, Indeed Allaah forgives all sins, Surely, He is the most Forgiving, the most Beneficent"
[39:53]
_
This should comfort us. We are sinners and we sin repeatedly killing our hearts and returning back to our desires. And we keep repenting and Allaah ﷻ keeps forgiving and our hearts are revived again, expelling the darkness!
_
This is the Rahma and the Forgiveness of Allaah ﷻ.
_
This Ayah Allaah ﷻ says انه هو He points out with emphasis, انه هو! That HE with NO DOUBT is the most forgiving and the most beneficent.
_
But we must not stop repenting. For Wallahi, the moment we do, we become lower in front of Allah ﷻ and the Shaytaan will have won!
_
Consider that this gift from Allah ﷻ in the form of his Rahma is for the whole of creation, including you!
_
Whatever you have done, do not let your guilt stop you from prostrating to Allah ﷻ.

Don't waste time!
Because Allah ﷻ says

 Every Soul shall taste death!
[3:185]
_
Rather take your sub-conscious guilt as a sign of Imaan. For only the Dead hearts feel no guilt at their sin.
_
Oh we sinners, let's listen to words of Allah ﷻ in Hadith Qudsi!
O son of Adam! If your sins were to reach the limits of the Sky And you were to repent to me, I would forgive you
[Sunan al-Tirmidhi‌ 3540]
_
Wallahi, repent today, even if your sins are many. We may never see tomorrow to repent.

Repent and start down the path of Taqwa. The path of Jannah!
_
As Allah ﷻ says

And the best of provisions is At Taqwa!
[2:197]
_
This is all you need on the path of Jannah, Taqwa!
_
Act upon your repentance before the day comes about which Allah ﷻ says,

It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.

Istighfar Dua: The Powerful Dua for Forgiveness of All Sins

Istighfar Dua: A Hadith on the Most Powerful Dua for Forgiveness

Get your sins forgiven now with this:

Ibn Masud (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “He who says: Astaghfir ullah-alladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Haiyul-Qayyumu, wa atubu ilaihi (I seek the forgiveness of Allah, there is no true god except Allah, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, and I turn to Him in repentance),’ his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah).”

How to Make Sincere Repentance in Islam

The Four Conditions of Sincere Repentance in Islam

Tawbah (repentance) is the hallmark of the believer: truly turning with one’s heart to Allah, and humbly apologising to Him.

Allah (ʿazza wa jall) says, “O believers! Turn to Allah in sincere repentance, so your Lord may erase your sins and admit you into Gardens, under which rivers flow…” (66:8).

For tawbah to be sincere, we have to:

1. stop committing the sin;

2. feel a deep sense of regret and remorse over the sin;

3. firmly resolve to never return to that sin;

4. make amends if we have wronged another person (e.g. ask their forgiveness or supplicate for them).

We should reflect on all the sins we have committed throughout our lives.
We should feel very bad at having sinned, and we should reflect on our negligence in worshipping Allah.
We should think over how Kind and Generous Allah is to us, and how we use these very same blessings to disobey Him.
We should think about how Allah al-Sittīr (The Concealer of sins) does not expose us despite the multitude of our sins. This should fill our hearts with a deep sense of shame and remorse.

The scholars have mentioned that a sincere tawbah can make a sin the means for a person to enter Paradise. A person may commit a sin, but subsequently makes tawbah. His tawbah is so sincere that he constantly thinks about the sin.
This causes him to fear it, regret it, weep over it and feel ashamed in front of his Lord due to it. He stands before Allah, broken-hearted with his head lowered in humility.
He constantly begs and cries to Him in duʿā, and he tries to atone for the sin by doing other good deeds — to the extent that Shayṭān says, “I wish I had not made him fall into that sin”.
Thus, this one sin becomes the cause for him entering Paradise.

The Tears of Piety: A Sign of True Faith and Love for Allah

The Tears of Piety: What They Are and Why They Matter

WEEPING FROM THE FEAR OF ALLAAH
➖➖➖

Allaah (ﷻ) says,

*Allaah has sent down the best statement: a consistent Book wherein is reiteration. The skins shiver therefrom of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts relax at the remembrance of Allaah. That is the guidance of Allaah by which He guides whom He wills. And one whom Allaah leaves astray - for him there is no guide.*

(Az-Zumar 39:23)

The ones who have firm faith in Allaah (ﷻ) have their skins shivered, and by means have their heart softened to the Words, the Words of Allaah (ﷻ), and this increases them in eeman.

This is the description of the righteous, who are fearful of their Lord, and increase their hope in Him.

And this is similar to the Ayah,

*The believers are only those who, when Allaah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely.*

(Al-Anfal 8:2)

These verses are worth pondering upon, for the true Muslim is the one who is fearful of his Lord in private and public.

And how many are the ones, who recite the Qur'an, and do not implement its wordings.

And how many are the ones whose hearts have been hardened by the love of this worldly life, and they turn away when the Words of Allaah are being brought to them.

*Allaah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. And they rejoice in the worldly life, while the worldly life is not, compared to the Hereafter, except [brief] enjoyment.*

(Ar-Ra'd 13:26)

_
The hardened heart will not shed the tears of piety, nor taste the sweetness of Eeman, until he returns to his Lord with humility and submissiveness.

To truly love Allaah (ﷻ) is to love obeying Him, seeking His mercies and being fearful of His wrath.

Allaah (ﷻ) says in the Qur’ān:

*وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِم مُّشْفِقُونَ*

*And those who are fearful of the punishment of their Lord -*

*Indeed, the punishment of their Lord is not that from which one is safe -*

(Al-Ma'arij 70:27-28)

And the fear of Allaah (ﷻ) is from the greatest deeds of a sound heart.

*_On the authority of Ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنه) who heard the Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) say, "There are two eyes which will not be touched by the fire; an eye which weeps from the fear of Allaah (ﷻ) and an eye which stays vigil throughout the night guarding Islam and one's family from Kufr"_*

[Sunan al-Tirmidhi‌ 1639. Grade Sahih li ghayrihi (authentic due to external evidence) according to Al-Albani]

_
May Allaah (ﷻ) grant us the heart of piety that is always fearful of Him.

The Importance of Seeking Repentance in Islam

The Benefits of Seeking Repentance

*A Means of Preventing Punishment*

Allah ﷻ says in Surah Al-Anfal

_But Allah would not punish them while you, [O Muhammad], are among them, and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness._

[8:33]

Single out your repentance to Allāh ﷻ and be excessive in it, it will prevent the punishment of Allāh ﷻ.

Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله says:

_"Allāh ﷻ informs us in this ayah that He will not punish one who repents."_

_

Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه comments on this Ayah, "They had two safety shelters: the Prophet ﷺ, and their seeking forgiveness (from Allah). The Prophet ﷺ went away, and only seeking forgiveness remained."

_

Uqbah ibn ‘Amir reported:

A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said, “O Messenger of Allah, one of us has committed a sin.” The Prophet said, “It will be written against him.” The man said, “Then he has sought forgiveness and repented.” The Prophet said, “He will be forgiven and his repentance accepted.” The man said, “Then he returns to committing a sin.” The Prophet said, “It will be written against him.” The man said, “Then he has sought forgiveness and repented.” The Prophet said, “He will be forgiven and his repentance accepted. Allah will not tire of forgiveness unless you are tired of asking.”

[Al-Mu’jam al-Awsat‌ 8918, Grade: Sahih according to Ibn Hajar]

_

Increase in Istighfaar!

The Prophet ﷺ would engage in Istighfaar 100+ times a day!

He ﷺ was sinless, and when asked He ﷺ replied "Should I not be a grateful slave?"

[Bukhari]

_

Such a simple act

Just keep saying استغفر الله and other duas of Istighfar

_

How hard is that?

Such easy 'Amal that can consequently save us from the biggest punishment!

_

Abu Umamah reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

_“Verily, the angel on the left side will raise his pen over the error or sin of a Muslim servant for six hours. If he sincerely regrets it and seeks forgiveness from Allah, the angel will throw it aside. Otherwise, he will record it as one sin.”_

[Al-Mu’jam al-Kabi‌r 7765, Grade: Hasan (fair) according to Al-Albani]

_

May Allah ﷻ make us among those who are repentant and protect us from His punishment.

The Power of Asking for Forgiveness | A cure for all your problems

The Power of Asking for Forgiveness

Prophet (Peace be upon him) said:

"Whoever persists in asking for forgiveness, Allaah will grant him relief from every worry, and a way out from every hardship, and will grant him provision from (sources) he could never imagine.”

[Abu Daawood and Ibn Maajah]

In the Quran, Allah says:

"And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful." (Quran 2:173)

"And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself, then seeks Allah's forgiveness, he will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful." (Quran 4:110)

"And if you ask forgiveness of Allah, He will forgive you. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful." (Quran 7:153)

These verses teach us that Allah is the Most Forgiving and Merciful, and He loves those who repent and seek His forgiveness. When we ask for forgiveness, we are admitting our mistakes and shortcomings, and we are turning to Allah for help. This shows humility and sincerity, which are two qualities that Allah loves.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

"Whoever persists in asking for forgiveness, Allah will grant him relief from every worry, and a way out from every hardship, and will grant him provision from (sources) he could never imagine.” (Abu Daawood and Ibn Maajah)

This hadith promises that whoever persists in asking for forgiveness will be granted relief from every worry, a way out from every hardship, and provision from (sources) he could never imagine. This is because when we ask for forgiveness, we are opening the door to Allah's blessings and mercy. We are also turning away from sin and disobedience, which are the main causes of our problems.

So if you are facing any problems in your life, I encourage you to make istighfar (asking for forgiveness) a regular part of your worship. It is a cure for all your problems, and it will bring you closer to Allah.

Here are some tips for making istighfar a regular part of your worship:
  1. Make it a habit to say istighfar after every prayer.
  2. Say istighfar whenever you make a mistake or sin.
  3. Set aside some time each day to specifically make istighfar.
  4. Memorize some of the recommended duas for istighfar.
  5. Ask Allah to help you to persist in making istighfar.
Share:

Allah wishes to accept your repentance

Allah wishes to accept your repentance

but those who follow their lusts, wish that you (believers) should deviate tremendously away (from the right path).

indicates that the followers of Shaytan among the Jews, Christians and the adulterous, wish that you would take the horrendous path of falsehood instead of the truth

Allah wishes to lighten (the burden) for you,

His legislation, orders, what He prohibits and what He decrees for you.

This is why Allah has allowed free men to marry slave girls under certain conditions, as Mujahid and others have stated.

and man was created weak.

and this is why it is suitable in his case that the commands are made easy for him, because of his weakness and feebleness.

Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that Tawus said that,
 (and man was created weak),

"Concerning women."

Waki said,

"Man's mind leaves when women are involved."

What is forgiveness | Hadith | importance of forgiveness

What is forgiveness | Hadith | importance of forgiveness

⛱️ ﷽ ⛱️

*_💕FORGIVENESS💕_*

The Prophet ﷺ said: “All the children of Adam constantly err, but the best of those who constantly err are those who constantly repent.” [Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Ahmad, Hakim]

We come to the next stage of gaining tranquility. Sometimes we don’t know why we feel down. We talked about al-Jabbar, and how we should go to Allah to help mend our broken hearts. But sometimes it’s more than that – it is the heavy weight of sins on our hearts. This topic may make us uncomfortable, because it is something we don’t like to be reminded of. It is difficult to think of and face up to our sins – and it makes us even more depressed! But the Prophet ﷺ taught us something very profound about the link between sins and the state of our heart. He says:

“When a slave commits a sin, a black spot appears on his heart…”

Subhan’Allah. When we commit sins, they weigh heavily on our hearts. Imagine a spiritual darkening of the heart due to the wrongs we commit – is it any wonder that we cannot pinpoint why we feel down? Yet the Prophet ﷺ also told us of the cleanser for this:

“But if he gives it up, seeks forgiveness and repents, his heart will be cleansed…”

Of course, because it is difficult to pinpoint every wrong that we do, prayer is also a cleanser, as is wudhu. But for a targeted cleansing, we need something more, because the Prophet ﷺ continues:

“…but if he repeats it, (the blackness) will increase until it overwhelms his heart.” [Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah]

What we need is istighfaar (seeking forgiveness) and tawba (repentance) as the Prophet ﷺ said. Setting aside some time to sit back and reflect, seek forgiveness, and try not to commit that sin again is a way to improve ourselves and to realize how Allah is Merciful and Forbearing. Despite the fact that we commit wrongs, He has not punished us.

Sometimes we avoid apologizing to a human being because we feel we will be rejected, or that that person will make it very hard for us to be forgiven – so we end up just avoiding the situation. Sometimes the shame makes us unable to say sorry. But with Allah, there should be no fear of that. When we admit to our wrongs and make a conscious and sincere effort to ask forgiveness, Allah (swt) is ready to forgive our sins even if they are like mountains. It is amazing how the very act of returning to Allah, after we have committed a wrong, is itself an act of worship that Allah loves. Allah says in a hadith qudsi:

“O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it.” [Tirmidhi]

Sometimes we assume that it is only those who have committed grave sins that need to return to Allah. But the Prophet ﷺ said: “Beware of minor sins. For they add on until they destroy a person.” [Ahmad, Tabarani]

Whatever stage we are at, we need istighfaar and true repentance. If the Prophet ﷺ himself would seek forgiveness 70 times a day, why do we feel that we have to commit something that is especially egregious in order to ask Allah to forgive us? If we think about it, every sin is a black dot. These black dots accumulate until our hearts become hard and do not feel anymore. An example of this is with cussing or swearing. The first time we say something we shouldn’t have, we feel this twinge of guilt in our heart. Then when we keep repeating it, it becomes normalized. Why? Because our hearts become enveloped in these black dots.

Tawbah - A Gift From Allah

Tawbah - A Gift From Allah

We can only make tawbah if Allah allows us to do so (tawfīq). Allah turns towards us first, after which we turn to Him in repentance; and then He accepts our repentance.

Allah says,

“…Then He turned towards them, so that they may repent.

Surely, Allah is the Acceptor of repentance, the Very Merciful” (9:118).

Sometimes Shayṭān may delude us into thinking that we still have time, and that we will make tawbah in the latter part of our lives. However, there is no guarantee for life. We should make tawbah today, so that we do not regret it when it is too late. It has been said that if the deceased in the grave were able to communicate with us, they would tell us that their greatest desire would be to be able to return to the world, even for a fraction of a moment, and make sincere tawbah to Allah (ʿazza wa jall).

“The best day in a servant’s life is undoubtedly the day in which he turns to Allah in repentance, and Allah accepts His repentance” – Ibn al-Qayyim (raḥimahullāh)

Sheikh Ibn Baz answered him with one sentence, he said: Increase Istighfaar (Asking Allah for forgiveness by saying AstaghfiruLLAH). After one year this man came back to Sheikh Ibn Baz and said: Ya Sheikh I got the child I wanted Alhamdulilah.

A man came to the famous Al Hassan Al Basri and said: The sky is not raining. Al Hassan said: IstaghfiriLLAH. Another man walked in and said to Al Hassan: I suffer from poverty. Al Hassan answered: IstaghfiriLLAH. Then another man walked in and said to Al Hassan: My wife does not bare children. Al Hassan said: IstaghfiriLLAH. The people who were present at the Majlis of Al Hassan said: how come every time someone comes to you with an issue you just say IstaghfiriLLAH!!!

Al Hassan answered: Didn’t you read the words of Allah when he says:

فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا (10) يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِدْرَارًا (11) وَيُمْدِدْكُمْ بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ أَنْهَارًا﴾

Translation: And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers, And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers. [71:10-12]

Allahu Akbar, all this is just in Dunia…..what about the Akhirah!!? Isn’t it enough that Istighfaar protects the believer from the punishment.

Allah promised not to punish us for our mistakes in two conditions, the first: while the Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him is among us and we all know that chance is no longer valid. The second condition was seeking forgiveness Allah says:

﴿وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنْتَ فِيهِمْ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ

Translation: But Allah would not punish them while you, [O Muhammad], are among them, and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness [8:33]

So this is a promise from the Lord of heavens and earths, what more do you need to start implementing this in your life?

The fourth Khalifa of Islam Ali Bin Abi Taleb may Allah be pleased with him said: It is surprising to see someone perish while he has the tool of survival, they said: what is it? He said: Al Istighfaar.

So never leave Istighfaar my dear sister and brother. The Prophet peace be upon him said: Fortunate is the person who finds in his record of deeds a lot of Istighfaar. Imagine when you come on the Day of Judgment while you are terrified and everyone is so scared and you find mountains of hassanat waiting for you because of your Istighfaar….

#Istighfar relieves you. When you feel that sadness within you, when you are disturbed and frustrated, when anxiety surrounds you, say “Astaghfirullah” “Astaghfirullah”…

Reciting #Astaghfiruallah is an effective method of calming our self and wipes away the variety of worldly worries from our mind and body. It may also help us, if we are suffering from depression, it calm us and lessen our depression.

Not only that, listen to this #hadith and rest assured that all your issues and problems will go away because of Istighfar

Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said:

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said,

“If anyone constantly seeks pardon (from Allah), Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from where he expects not.” [Abu Dawud].

In another hadith, Abdullah bin Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said:

“The one who (regularly) says Istighfaar, that is, frequently repent to Allah Ta’aala for sins committed, Allah Azza Wa-Jal will open a path from poverty and difficulties. All sorrow and hardship will be removed, and in its place prosperity and contentment granted. One will receive sustenance from unimagined and unexpected sources.”

Here are more ayaat from the #Quran with great promises from #Allah (swt):

Then, verily! Your Lord for those who do evil (commit sins and are disobedient to Allâh) in ignorance and afterward repent and do righteous deeds, verily, your Lord thereafter, (to such) is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [An-Nahl 16:119]

Your Lord knows best what is in your inner-selves. If you are righteous, then, verily, He is Ever Most Forgiving to those who turn unto Him again and again in obedience, and in repentance. [Al-Isra 17:25]

And verily, I am indeed Forgiving to him who repents, believes (in My Oneness, and associates none in worship with Me) and does righteous good deeds, and then remains constant in doing them, (till his death). [Ta-Ha 20:82]

So start from now on my dear sister and brother and make it a habit every day, seek forgiveness as much as you can, do it while you are sitting, while you are in bed, while you are working, while you are driving…..it does not cost you anything and you don’t even have to do any physical effort #SubhanAllah, Allah is so merciful to us he excepts the least from us. Start now, start today and watch your life changing.

Our istighfār (seeking forgiveness) requires istighfār!

Istighfar Reminder

Hasan Al-Basri رحمه الله said:

“Our istighfār (seeking forgiveness) requires istighfār!”

[Tafsīr Al-Qurtubī: 4/210]

The intent behind this is that many of us are not sincere in our Istighfār and we do not meet the conditions of an accepted repentance.

This is because repentance has conditions which need to be met in order for it to be accepted.

1) The person gives up the sin Immediately

Saying you have repented, and you haven’t given up the sin is the repentance of the liars!

Al-Fuḍayl ibn ʻIyāḍ رحمه الله said:

“Repentance without Iqlā’ (giving up the sin) is the repentance of the liars!”

2) That he regrets the sin he has committed

This is the cornerstone and pillar of repentance. The Prophet ﷺ said:

(Regret is repentance)

You cannot say you have repented when you do not regret the sin you committed. Rather, if they had another opportunity to commit it, they would pounce at the opportunity and hasten to do it another time. And you cannot say you have repented sincerely if you remember your sins as good moments in your life as if you’re proud of it.

3) That he has a firm resolve to never commit the sin he has repented from

Many people say they have repented, but they do not have a firm resolve to leave the sin. They do not cut off the people of the sin, or abandon the place of the sin or refrain from the pathways and avenues which lead back to the sin.

This is Why our Repentance Requires Repentance!

How to beware of procastination

𝗕𝗘𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

🌟Putting off on things or delaying repentance is something frm the shaytan. Not praying ur 5 obligatory salat or by delaying or thinking about making it up is the whispers of the shaytan through procrastinating.

🌟Many Jews & Christians contemplated joining Islam, but Iblis convinced them to procrastinate saying: “Do not rush, look more into the issue.” Until they die as non-Muslims

🌟He who sees death to be near works hard during his life.
Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said: “Perform prayer as if you were departing.”

🌟If procrastination is part of your nature then repelling it becomes difficult. But when one knows that he has a persistant enemy he will always be on guard

🥀 Having Many Expectations:

 Yahya Ibn Mu'adh said:
"Of the things that prevents the people from making Repentance are too many expectations."

🌟Shaytaan always strives to discourage the believer by saying to him/her: take your time with regards to this, what is the rush; you have all the time in the world. As result shaytaan deceives and makes the person procrastinate and the servant dies while sinning."

🌟Ibn Qayyim said: "Therefore the steadfast upright believer should make good use of his time and not procrastinate and turn away living a life of longing, hoping and expecting so much in the future."

🌟Some of the Salaf used to say:
"Be weary of procrastinating & always putting off things, for indeed it is something from shaytaan and his forces."

🌟Procrastinating is very dangerous to you & ur hereafter.Delaying your repentance & salat will only destroy you & the shaytan loves to help you in that by putting it off & saying to yourself that you have enough time to do these things. And all your affairs in life like school & work can also be effected through procrastination.

We ask Allāh ﷻ to give us safety from the enemy’s cunning, the devil’s fitnah’s & the evils of ourselves & the dunya. Indeed He is near & responsive.

What is the ruling on repentance after committing sins

What is the ruling on repentance after committing sins

*REPENTANCE* ;

"Repeating the Sins makes you a sinner but repenting with true intention and pure heart after every sin makes you a true believer 🌙"
.
We , Human's aren't pious and pure but the best among us are those who repent with absolute sincerity after committing sin and we should also be among those because what you do think of a person with beard and a women with hijab , are they perfect one's ? Absolutely not , perfection is only for Allahﷻ but what makes them different is they repent after every sin they commit and that's what is a characteristic feature of a believer and indeed Allah says in the Qur'an :

وَالَّذِينَ عَمِلُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ ثُمَّ تَابُوا مِن بَعْدِهَا وَآمَنُوا إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِن بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

*7-Surah Al-A'raf (The Heights) 153*
But those who committed misdeeds and then repented after them and believed - indeed your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful.

So beleive in your Rab and know that He is the one who'll be with you even after you'll commit thousands of sins .

( May Heﷻ guide and let us to be among those who repent and repent with true intentions and pure heart and with absolute sincerity . Ameen 🤍 )

What is istigfaar

What is istigfaar

Istigfaar is a great reason for forgiveness.

Verily Istigfar means supplication for forgiveness, and the supplication of the fasting individual is answered while he is fasting, and at the time of breaking the fast.

Hasan Al Basri said:

Increase in you seeking of forgiveness, for verily you don’t know when the mercy of Allah will befall you.

Luqman said to his son:

Oh my son, condition your tongue to constantly seek forgiveness from Allah. Verily Allah has specific hours that He does not reject supplication.

Does Allaah accept the tawbah of the apostate or the innovator

Does Allaah accept the tawbah of the apostate or the innovator

Answered by our Shaykh, the 'Allāmah, the Trustworthy Advisor, Abu 'Abdirrahmān Yahya bin 'Ali Al-Hajūri - may Allāh preserve him - on the 27th, Muharram, 1443H

📥Question:

The questioner is asking about the hadith 'Allaah doesn't accept the repentance of a slave who disbelieved after accepting Islaam'?

📥Answer:

This is if he dies upon kufr,

"And whosoever of you turns back from his religion and dies as a disbeliever, then his deeds will be lost in this life and in the Hereafter, and they will be the dwellers of the Fire. They will abide therein forever."

[Al-Baqarah: 217]

The Hadith Allaah doesn't accept the repentance of a slave who disbelieved after accepting Islaam is upon this (meaning), whoever apostated and died upon kufr, his tawbah is not accepted, the meaning is Allaah will not bestow repentance upon him

Untill His statement;

"Nor of those who die while they are disbelievers."

[An-Nisaa: 18]

i.e Allaah will not bestow his mercy upon them.

As for the Hadith ;

"Allaah doesn't accept the repentance of the perpetrator of bid'ah until he leaves his bid'ah"

i.e he won't be granted success to it, as for if he's granted success to it, it's accepted. Allaah accepts the tawbah of a Kaafir or not if he repents;

"Say to those who have disbelieved, if they cease (from disbelief) their past will be forgiven."

[Al-Anfaal: 38]

And likewise the mubtadi's tawbah is accepted, but verily Allaah doesn't grant him success, we ask Allaah for Aafiyah, we seek refuge with Allaah from bid'ah.

The mubtadi' is not granted success to tawbah. Imaam Ahmed said he's not granted success to it, and a number of the people of knowledge said that he's not granted success.

So beware BaarakAllaah Feek upon yourselves from hizbiyyah and bid'ah, it's bid'ah! For verily you see many people falling into bid'ah and hizbiyyah and you say the proof is clear infront of the man, what's wrong with him that he doesn't fear Allaah, he wasn't granted success.

We ask Allaah for success upon His obedience.

You find he's not granted success. And tawbah amongst the people of sin is more than the people of bid'ah, more than it.

Rather perhaps he increase in evil, if he innovates or opposes, he increase in evil, and the proof for that is the statement of the Prophet ﷺ;

"Dominated by desires"

Ya'nee it starts of small then it increases, he's pushed towards evil, and he's pushed more and he extends more, and the Shaytaan follows him more, we ask Allaah for safety;

"So Shaitan (Satan) followed him up, and he became of those who went astray."

[Al-A'raaf: 175]

i.e he seek dominance over him more, I add to this the Hadith;

"People who will be dominated by desires like rabies which penetrates its patient until there remains no vein nor joint except it penetrates it.”

So the beginning of his affair is simple easy, then the condition gets worse for him then the Shaytaan follows him up, and the desire penetrate him until perhaps he's prevented from tawbah.

So we ask Allaah to be in Aafiyah of all of that, we ask Allaah for Salaamah and Aafiyah, and to take our souls while we are upon Islaam and the Sunnah.

Some of them say I'm going to stand in enmity against this Da'wah, I'm against this Da'wah, by Allaah there's no problem, by Allaah there's no problem man, for indeed every forsaker has enmity to it, whoever shows enmity towards it Allaah shows enmity towards him;

"Whoever shows enmity to a waliy of mine I declare war on him."

The meaning is you want to wage war against the Lord of the worlds and showing enmity towards the righteous, this is no problem, the problem is on you, and noone showed enmity to the Da'wah or harmed it or rejected it or caused fitnah for the truth and it's people except a person whom Allaah intended evil for, as long as Allaah doesn't submerse him in His mercy and he repents, and it will fall back on him in a worst condition;

(And We said): "If you do good, you do good for your ownselves, and if you do evil (you do it) against yourselves."

[Al-Israa': 7]

So upon a Muslim is to be gentle to himself and seek refuge from decrease after increase, and it's not allowed for him to show enmity or harm a believer/believers, don't show enmity font cause harm without due right there's no need.

The point of benefit is there's no problem, the enmity of the people of falsehood in all it's forms is no problem;

"Truly, Allah defends those who believe."

[Al-Hajj: 38]

Abu Jahl stood (in enmity), Abu Lahb stood, Abu Lahb is the relative of the Prophet ﷺ and with that he showed enmity him and his wife and stood with the upmost harm, they didn't harm;

They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance;

[Aal-Imraan: 111]

Verily the harms goes back on the person of fitnah;

"And you may have to taste the evil (punishment in this world) of having hindered (men) from the Path of Allaah, and yours will be a great torment (i.e. the Fire of Hell in the Hereafter)."

[An-Nahl: 94]

The magicians with the severity of their fitnah didn't do anything, magicians, and they didn't do anything by the permission of Allaah;

"But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's Leave."

[Al-Baqarah: 102]

A magician!, magician!, so what about other than him?

The summary is be upon Istiqaamah and relax yourself, and know that Allaah is you Waliy;

"Allaah is the Waliy (Protector or Guardian) of those who believe. He brings them out from darkness into light."

[Al-Baqarah: 257]

So the guardianship of Allaah to you O believer, be upon Istiqaamah and relax yourself,

"Whoever shows enmity to a waliy of mine I declare war on him."

Allaah's Angels are with you,

"Verily, those who say: "Our Lord is Allah (Alone)," and then they Istaqamu, on them the angels will descend (at the time of their death) (saying): "Fear not, nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you have been promised! "We have been your friends in the life of this world and are (so) in the Hereafter."

[Fussilat: 30-31]

What can you do, Allaah's Angels are with you, if the Istiqaamah of of a person is correct and his uprightness, then he is in the protection of Allaah, Allaah will protect you, and Allaah's Angels protect by the command of Allaah;

"For each (person), there are angels in succession, before and behind him. They guard him by the Command of Allah."

[Ar-Ra'd: 11]

What is the best prayer for forgiveness

Best prayer for seeking forgiveness:

Al-Bukhari (6306) narrated from Shaddad ibn Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) that that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“The best prayer for seeking forgiveness is to say:

‘Allahumma anta rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa’dika ma astata‘t. A‘udhu bika min sharri ma sana‘tu, abu-u laka bi ni‘matika ‘alayya wa abu-u laka bi dhanbi, faghfir li fa innahu la yaghfiru’l-dhunub illa anta

(O Allah, You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise (to You) as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You).”

And he said: “Whoever says this during the day, having faith in it and dies before the evening comes, will be among the people of Paradise, and whoever says it during the night, having faith in it, and dies before the morning comes, will be among the people of Paradise.”
