What Allah commanded to Musa(P.B.U.H) when he was sent

Musa and Pharaoh 

When Allah sent Musa, peace be upon him, to the Pharoah, He commanded him to invite him to two things: 

1) To worship Allah the Almighty and to stop associating partners with Him: 

{And say, ‘Would you ˹be willing to˺ purify yourself, and let me guide you to your Lord so that you will be in awe ˹of Him˺?’”} [79: 18,19]. 

2) To free the oppressed and to refrain from tyranny:

{so let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not oppress them} [20:47].

Reformists today need to address both points, without disregarding either one of them:

1) Inviting people to faith, sincerity, correcting their creed and purifying it from counter-ideologies. 

2)Supporting the oppressed, being engaged in their causes, and fighting injustice.

It is noticeable that some stress the importance of one at the expense of the other. The correct approach is found in the guidance of Musa, peace be upon him.
